
My Story in a Nutshell
I spent more than 21 years as a community banker, serving in roles including Market Manager, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer, and Chief Lending Officer. Those years taught me how to lead in a highly regulated environment where relationships, judgment, and strategic clarity matter every day.
Over time, I began to notice a pattern across organizations: even when results are strong, teams often struggle with alignment, communication, and collaboration. That realization sparked a deeper interest in leadership, culture, and the dynamics that either accelerate or quietly undermine organizational success.
With the support of an executive coach, I worked closely with fellow leaders to strengthen teamwork, improve cross-functional alignment, and build cultures rooted in trust and shared purpose. Those experiences reshaped the way I think about leadership and the role that people play in shaping an organization’s health.
My focus on culture and alignment continued into the next chapter, where I led a nationally recognized professional training organization through significant growth and change. By fostering trust and collaboration, we built an environment where people consistently performed at their best, reinforcing my belief that strong leadership and intentional culture are the foundation of long-term success.
Across all of these experiences, one theme has remained constant: meaningful transformation happens when leaders are aligned, intentional, and willing to grow. That belief is what led me to create ExecutiveSense Consulting.
